Then draw lines for positioning; Generally, the installation position of the door hinge is about 1/4 of the door to ensure uniform stress. After the line is drawn and the position is fixed, the hole is punched; Use a pistol drill or woodworking hole opener to make a hinge mounting hole about 35mm in size on the door panel. Next, fix the hinge cup and the base in turn, and finally conduct the opening and closing test, and then conduct the debugging.
Specific installation steps of door hinge:
1. Prepare tools and materials
Before installing the door hinge, the installer will measure and draw lines for positioning. To ensure the accuracy of hinge installation, when measuring the hinge installation position on the door frame and door leaf, both the upper hinge and the lower hinge should be measured from the top of the door frame or door leaf down.
Generally, the installation position of the door hinge is about 1/4 of the door to ensure uniform stress. If it is a door hinge, a hinge shall be provided at the upper, middle and lower points of the door, and each hinge shall occupy 1/3 of the position.
After marking and fixing the position, in order to prevent deviation in installation, marks shall also be marked on the reverse side of the door leaf.
3. Punching
Use a pistol drill or woodworking hole opener to drill a hinge mounting hole about 35mm in size on the door panel, with a depth of about 12mm.
4. Fixed hinge cup
Slide the door hinge onto the door panel, and fix it in the hinge hole with self tapping screws.
